Years
The Ranchi Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was established on 16th May 1987 with a mission to serve the professional and academic needs of Chartered Accountants and aspiring CA students in the region.
From a modest beginning with just 53 members and under 100 students, we have grown into a vibrant branch with over 1,300 members and 4,000+ students. We are proud to be one of the most active and award-winning branches under the Central India Regional Council (CIRC) of ICAI.
Our branch’s foundation is built not just in concrete, but in the collective efforts of our members. In 1987, the members of the Ranchi Branch took the initiative to purchase land for a permanent premises. On 23rd August 1990, the foundation stone of our branch building was laid by the then ICAI President, CA A. H. Dalal a defining moment in our journey.
After years of dedication and development, the fully constructed G+3 branch building was inaugurated on 15th December 2009. Today, it stands as a landmark of professionalism in Ranchi equipped with modern classrooms, seminar halls, and administrative facilities to support both members and CA students in their academic and professional growth.
Over the years, ICAI Ranchi Branch has consistently set benchmarks in professional service, student development, and institutional growth. Our journey of dedication and innovation has been acknowledged through numerous awards and commendations from CIRC, CICASA, and ICAI. These recognitions reflect the trust of our members, the passion of our volunteers, and the strength of our community.
